Meet John Campobasso
John Campobasso is a lifelong Yorktown resident with more than 40 years of deep roots in the community. He and his wife, Jen, have been married for 26 years and have raised two sons—Tyler, a Seton Hall graduate, and Ryan, a senior at Pace University.
A union carpenter for 34 years and the owner of a successful union drywall and acoustics company for the past 19 years, John understands the value of hard work, fiscal responsibility, and getting the job done right.

Experience Matters
John has spent decades giving back to Yorktown through leadership and service. He served 11 years as President of the Yorktown Athletic Club, after 8 years as a board member, helping to strengthen local youth programs and community engagement. He also served 7 years as a Yorktown Parks & Recreation Commissioner, including 3 years as Vice Chair, where he worked to improve town facilities and expand recreational opportunities for residents.
For 19 years, John has coached youth baseball, mentoring generations of young athletes and families.
With a lifetime of local involvement, proven leadership, and a commitment to Yorktown’s future, John Campobasso is dedicated to continuing to serve the community he has always called home.
